Lynette Fields Obituary, Death Cause – Lynette “Lynn” Marie Fields, who was 63 years old and lived in Galesburg, Illinois, died away in a calm and peaceful manner on Sunday, December 3, 2023, at her residence, surrounded by her devoted family. She left behind a legacy of love and warmth. Lynn was the treasured daughter of Elmer and Mary Ann Luensmann. She was born on March 13, 1960 in Dubuque, Iowa. Luensmann was the father. Her formative years were spent on a farm just outside of Farley, Iowa.
It was there that she learned the importance of family, community, and hard labor, which formed the foundation of her character. St. Joseph’s was the destination of Lynn’s scholastic journey, and it was there that she not only acquired information but also made friendships that would last a lifetime. Over the course of her life, her dedication to education and development grew increasingly apparent. The kind and gentle nature that Lynn possessed won her the hearts of everyone she came in contact with.
In 1982, Lynn gave in to the love of motherhood, a position that she valued more than anything else in her life. Her capacity for unconditional love stretched beyond the confines of her immediate family, impacting the lives of her friends and neighbors as well. With her unflinching support and sincere grin, Lynn created an environment that was warm and inviting for everyone.
Although Lynn’s time on earth is drawing to a conclusion, her legacy will continue to be carried on by the recollections of those whose lives she touched. The community is in mourning over the passing of a cherished member of the community, whose warmth and friendliness will be remembered for many and many generations to come. We would like to express our deepest sympathies to Lynn’s family and friends during this difficult time. We will always remember Lynn with respect. May she rest in peace for all of eternity.
